What to Expect During Your Visit
Knowing what to expect on your first visit can help you and your pet feel more relaxed and prepared.
Call our office at 417-673-2455 to schedule an appointment, and we will find a time that is convenient for you.
Ensure your pet is safely secured for the ride and in the clinic: cats should be in a secure carrier, and dogs should be on a secure leash and collar/harness.
When you arrive, you’ll check in at the front desk. You can complete our new client forms online before your visit or you can fill them out when you arrive.
Be sure to bring in any medical history you have of your pet and write down any
questions or concerns you have about your pet's diet, behavior, training, or health.
It's easy to forget things in the moment!
One of our knowledgeable staff will escort you to a room and review the forms you
filled out and ask you questions about your pet and any concerns you noted.
One of our veterinarians will perform a thorough physical exam and may recommend blood work or other tests.
Our veterinarian will give you a summary of their findings and discuss any
diagnoses.
The front desk will gather any necessary prescriptions, preventative medications, or special food, schedule any follow-up visits and you’ll pay for the services rendered.
